Hi everyone,

We are trying to find the best way to configure apache/mysql for our servers.
We got big application servers (16 cores, 16GB RAM) and a big db server (8
cores, 16GB RAM). We use Invenio 1.0rc0 on Debian squeeze (6.0.1).

At the very beginning I used the default values (5 wsgi processes, 100 MySQL
connections, 100 MaxKeepAliveRequests). I tried to increase the number of
concurrent wsgi processes to 80 (it was really slow before that), but then I
ran into a "Too many connections error" returned by MySQL. As I don't really
want to screw my whole system, do you guys have any advice on how to tune this?
What values do you use in production? Are there any other variables I should
take into account?

We serve ~10-20k hits per hour on this machine.

Thanks for your replies!
Best regards,
Greg
