Thank you for your investigation. Please let me know a proposed solution once
you have.
I installed invenio-1.0.0 in another host from scratch, i re-produced the same
error based on SL5.5.
In my impression., I got the error when I uploaded the demo records the first
time in the first installation which you are investigating.
In another installation which I installed later, It is ok when I uploaded the
demo records the first time. But I do not know when 'bibrank' has error.
Then, I droped DB, re-created DB, uploaded demo records again. Then, got the
error.

it looks indeed there is some missing variable initialization with respect to
bibrank that causes the error you are seeing. I wonder, though, why this is
triggered only in your instance. I will further investigate and propose you
with a solution, but for the time being, as a workaround, you can simply
remove bibrank from your bibsched queue.
