Maybe it is a missunderstanding of me but I found a problem with a more
complex search pattern in Invenio (1.0 maint).
I'm using basic search here with strings to represent the complex
search, not the advanced search interface (basically as in many cases I
need more than 3 criteria ;)
Consider a set of fields where I want to search for specific strings.
Say, I want to search for 'A' in field 9201_ and 'B' in 915__ (all exact
strings, no fancy expanding or any fuzzy searching, A and B being unique
IDs). The query would then be:
9201_:'A' AND 915__:'B'
This works as expected.
Now things get a bit more complex. I want to find 'B' or 'C' in 915__,
in all those records where 9201_ is still 'A'. Therefore, the query
should be
9201_:'A' AND (915__:'B' OR 915__:'C')
right? However, this just does not work. It does not yield any results
though in the case I used C is actually a subset of B (ie. each record
that sets B also has C set, I'd thus expect the same results as in the
first case.)
Leaving out the braces gives a result, but AND preceeds OR so not what I
expect either.
What am I doing wrong here?

BTW: The above is a simplified query, the full flexed thing would be:
9201_:'I:(DE-Juel1)ZB-20090406' AND (915__:'StatID:(DE-HGF)0100' OR
915__:'StatID:(DE-HGF)0110')
though I guess that the quotes prevent anything strange to happen.
