I am installing invenio-1.1.1 based on SLC5.8 x86_64, the default python is python 2.4.3. According to the Installation guide in tar ball, pythin is required 'Python v2.4 or above' . The errors what I encoutered are: the element template status of 'Video HTML detailed<https://invenio.ihep.ac.cn/admin/bibformat/bibformatadmin.py/format_template_show?bft=Video_HTML_detailed.bft&ln=en>' is 'Not OK'. Validation of Format Template Video HTML detailed An error has been found: Cannot load element "VIDEO_PLATFORM_SUGGESTIONS" in template bfe_video_platform_suggestions.py. Check element code. Error in format element VIDEO_PLATFORM_SUGGESTIONS. File "/usr/lib64/python2.4/site-packages/invenio/bibencode_utils.py", line 31, in ? import uuid Python 2.4.3 seems dos not contain uuid. My questions are 1. which version of python is capatiable and stable with invenio 1.1.1 ? python 2.5 ? python 2.6 ? 2. which version of OS, for example: SLC5X or SLC6X, is compatiable with invenio 1.1.1 ?
