Dear Lanxin,
I am running invenio for some projects on our institute in various
production and test versiopns.
My production version is 1.00rc0, my latest test version is 1.1.1.
Using IE , at first It would also not open a tif file (apparently I
rarely use them). On my windows xp laptop a local copy the file opened
automatically with 'windows picture and fax viewer'. I then changed the
file association to irfanview (which happened to be installed, others
would probably work as well). After that IE asked me whether to open or
save the file. 'Open' displayed it correctly.
Firefox on a linux machine also works (there is an image viewer plugin
included anyway).

I have installed AlternaTIFF in my laptop in order to open .tiff pic
with IE.

for opening a tiff file in INvneio ?

be shown at the submission page and at the web search page.
please see the attached file. I have installed libtiff anf libtiff-devel.
Is there any other pakage to be installed else ?
