In BibEdit, there is a new button in the GUI, that transforms the
fielded display into one simple, large multiline edit with default
"Human Marc" (similar to of=hm). This means that, finally, you can just
copy&paste even complex fields with several subfields or various fields
from one record to another just by the clipboard. Additionally, by means
of, say "It's all Text", you can edit the Marc directly with your
favourite vi.
I do subject indexing and this is a definite killer feature. I hate our
commercial catalogue for not having something similar. And I loved Pica
for exactly this way to edit bibliographics. And it is also great if you

Whoever did that feature will most likely get tons of flowers from

May I ask in what version of (upcoming?) invenio will this be available?
I hope already in 1.x (x > 0). I dare not to hope it get's backported.
We are preparing a mega-giga-branch of all the patches in INSPIRE to be merged
back into Invenio master (these are around 300 commits).

Well, 1.2 is fine we'll go there ASAP. (You remember our pending
OAI-issue.) The above alone would trigger an upgrade ASAP.
Unfortunately, we have some evaluation stuff to do first but well.
