The project manager is responsible for conducting, analyzing and improving the process activities defined in the Application Services Project Management Lifecycle (Apps PMLC). Responsibilities include: Scope Management ? Understand and manage customer requirements (deliverables and environmental factors) to ensure contract compliance and customer satisfaction Communication Management ? Conduct internal and customer project kick off meetings to ensure transfer of knowledge and align project expectations ? Define and implement a communication plan which meets customer expectations ? Work closely with customers and stakeholders to manage their expectations and resolve business issues in a timely manner ? Coordinate and facilitate project status meetings, create and distribute project status reports on a predefined basis ? Coordinate and facilitate project steering committee meetings on a predefined basis Risk Management ? Identify project constraints ? Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks affecting projects Time Management ? Define and communicate project team Position -2) Title: ETL Architect Location: Seattle Legenth: 5 months for the ETL conversion. Rate: 80$ Description Primary roles and responsibilities are to provide expertise and technical leadership to develop Microsoft oriented Business Intelligence solutions, mainly SSIS. The ETL Architect will be working closely with WDS DataStage Developers. Analyzing the current ETL Jobs written in DataStage and helping with the conversion to SSIS. The conversion will be done in our solutions center in Bangalore and the ETL Architect will be working closely with our India development team and be the point of contact for all the work that is being done. The ETL Architect will also be responsible for helping WDS members on the transition to SSIS. The responsibilities and daily functions will be: ? Develop and document ETL mappings and ETL processes for the Data Warehouse, decision support and business intelligence applications. ? Review, assign, analyze and resolve technical and application related problems while mentoring staff in problem resolution and troubleshooting techniques using SSIS AND DataStage. ? Interact with customers to gather requirements and provide solutions in support of business requirements, data mappings, data quality and profiling. ? Suggest and implements methods to improve process efficiencies. ? Work closely with system and database administrators to proactively monitor and manage the development and production environments to ensure efficient utilization of resources and maximum uptime. ? Ensure adherence to standards and methodologies. ? Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Additional Job Info: Requirements: ? 10+ years of programming experience using Microsoft Technologies. ? 10+ years demonstrated experience full life-cycle Data Warehouse Development. ? 10+ years designing and developing data migration and cleansing processes using an ETL tool, procedural language or related tool. SSIS and DataStage is required for a minimum of 5 years. ? Must have a wide range of skills in the Microsoft Database Development Framework: SQL Server 2005, T-SQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS including design, development, debugging and performance tuning. ? Must have experience writing T-SQL and MDX. ? Must be able to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines with minimal assistance. Must be able to independently handle concurrent tasks with tight deadlines. ? Must have proven ability to learn quickly new languages/technology. ? Must be proficient with MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio. ? Must be proficient with data modeling tools like Erwin, ERStudio, ? ? Knowledge of Sharepoint, PerformancePoint, Business Scoreboard Manager ? Experience with other Business Intelligence and ETL tools a plus. ? Experience with conversion work and DataStage Required ? MCDBA Certification required Position-3) Title: Data Architect Location: Seattle Legenth: 18 months Rate: 80$ Skills: Mandatory skill: Previous experience architecting a Data Warehouse/BI Dimensional modeling HealthCare and Claims experience Business Objects BI Data Architect (Modeling) The BI/Data Warehousing Architect will provide senior level business analysis and technical leadership to the BI efforts. This person will work with our Architecture and Reporting team to design data models for the BI solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance as well as provide hands on implementation, delivery and training. Serves as Technical Lead on the project including recommending tools, design and process changes. Provides sustainability support model for Data Warehouse and documents. Provide advice and guidance on data warehousing approaches and solutions, and use of data warehousing methodology ? 12+ years of IT industry experience; ? 8+ years of Data Warehousing experience; ? Proven experience with major Database systems including development, design, optimization and maintenance. ? 5+ years experience with design/development of OLAP cubes, SCD, aggregates, multi-dimensional optimization techniques in high volume environments. ? Full Life Cycle Experience in Data Warehouse Design, Development, Tuning and Support Description ? Develop and design the data models for BI architecture ? Develop and document data models metadata; ? Interact with customers to gather requirements and provide solutions in support of business requirements; ? Suggest and implements methods to improve process efficiencies; ? 5+ years of full-time experience in database development of warehousing models ?
