What the client needs to accomplish as part of this project:
1. Data migration
1. Sales History
2. Non-oracle accounts
2. Field changes to CRM to support reporting (average lbs per week, etc.)
3. Define new aggregations in reporting module
4. Code/develop aggregations
5. Define query sources within CRM (which field for which report)
6. Assemble reports
7. Test results against existing sources (CRM compared to datamart)
*Desired skill set:***
Extensive experience in creating CRM OnDemand reports from scratch including
complex reports involving multiple objects and large volumes of data sliced
in multiple ways
Experience in drafting requirements for OnDemand reporting aggregations and
field specific modifications
Ability and experience in troubleshooting and validating data (CRM compared
to source compared to historical reports or data extract compared to
requirements doc) – can identify the discrepancy, research the cause, and
propose solutions
Knowledge of how to hand-off (and/or document) a developed report so that
someone else can edit and maintain it going forward without losing data
integrity or having to start over.
