PeopleSoft HR Functional Lead
LOCATION :* Minnetonka, MN.
*DURATION :* 6 months

Principal Accountabilities:*
Core HR Functional Lead for PeopleSoft HCM 8.8 to 9.1 upgrade
60% Functional
·         Lead all functional activities including fit/gap, business process
reviews, system configuration, modification design, and testing.
·         Perform functional consulting with HR and Benefits while
interacting with other HR Stakeholders to better understand the
functionality difference between version 8.8 to 9.1
·         Act as subject matter expert for PeopleSoft HR and Benefits
·         Ability to facilitate understanding of existing and new
functionality, identification and resolution for areas where business
processes depart from delivered PeopleSoft 9.0/9.1 software solutions and to
recommend best practices from past experience.
·         Interface with technical team members to coordinate the
fulfillment of all requirements.

*30% Configuration and Testing *
·         Perform HR system configuration in PeopleSoft 9.1
·         Create Test plans for various testing phase
·         Perform Unit Testing, System Testing
·         Co-Ordinate User Acceptance Testing

*10% Project Management*
·         Perform duties assigned by the Project Manager
·         Develop detailed work plans for area of responsibility and monitor
status of progress, taking corrective actions as necessary to maintain
budget and schedule
·         Identifying key functional risks during early project phases
·         Managing key functional risks through all phases
·         Development of functional work plans and integration of those work
plans into the Integrated Project Plan (IPP)
·         Alignment of the functional scope with project objectives

*Required*
·         Experienced as an integral team member on at least 2 Upgrade with
PeopleSoft HR in a functional design/configuration role.
·         8+ years of experience in ERP applications design, development,
testing and implementation for Human Capital Management business
applications
·         6+ years functional knowledge of key HR and Benefits business
processes that are often enabled by technology.
·         2+ years previous hands-on project experience designing and
configuring the PeopleSoft HR and Benefits in release 9.0.
·         Proven experience as an integral team member on at least 2 Upgrade
with PeopleSoft HR in a functional design/configuration role.
         2+ years of experience managing teams of at least 2-3 people on
full lifecycle implementation/upgrade
·         Demonstrated team work and collaboration skills
·         Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Desired*

Experience in PeopleSoft N.A Payroll
Experience in Enterprise Learning Management
Experience with Crystal, MS Access, PeopleSoft Query and other report
writing tools. Experience with User Productivity Kit (UPK) software.
