Oracle GL Functional Consultant
Duration :* 3 months
*Location :*  Fremont CA
*Rate :* open

*Need a strong Oracle General Ledger (GL) person with knowledge of Inventory
and Manufacturing. (all Oracle EBS modules)
Primarily functional - 90% -funct. /  10%-technical.
Needs to be able to look at SQL scripts and understand them,  NOT write
them...*...

As client has multiple companies and is pending acquisitions, consultant
needs to understand consolidations within GL, and  how to work with
financial reporting within GL.  eg- Oracle's  FSG (Financial Statement
Generator).  Need to be able to 'drill down' to sub ledgers;  be able to
look into WIP (Work in process) and make sense of Inventory and Mfg.
levels...(drill down into the transactions)

*Great Comm. skills are a MUST !
5 + yrs. experience.*

*Responsibilities:*
** Work closely with both the IT and finance departments as an Oracle
Financials “Super User”
** Support finance in sub-ledger & general ledger reconciliation activities
** Support the financial close process in Oracle
** Support Oracle GL consolidation activities performed by the finance
** Ability to create and modify Oracle FSGs

*Skills:*
** Minimum 5 years experience with the following Oracle modules (GL, AP, AR,
FA & PO)
** Hyperion and/or QlikView experience is a PLUS
** Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present data for
purposes of evaluation and decision making
** Ability to perform accounting functions such as:  reconciliation,
analyses
** Strong interpersonal skills
** Proficient verbal and written communication skills
** Working knowledge of MS software applications:  Word, Excel, Outlook, and
PowerPoint.
