The candidate will be responsible for coding, designing, participating in
requirements and analysis, writing technical specifications and mentoring
junior engineers.  They will use open source technologies which are proven
in the real world, integrate them into new and existing applications, create
reusable classes to be packaged into common libraries.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

·         Utilize aspect-oriented programming and annotation-driven
programming techniques

·         Adhere to test-driven-development practices and maintain a high
degree of coverage during development

·         Establish project build and deployment life cycles, implement
project architecture and build/deployment scripts

·         Establish source control management procedures for supporting
versioned development

·         Establish continuous integration practices, publish test coverage
reports and generate JavaDocs

·         Utilize XML schemas to back POJO’s for immediate integration with
web services, legacy systems, SQL Server 2005, and JSP’s

·         Participate in project planning meetings, leading implementation
planning meetings, and defining programming tasks and estimates for project
iterations

·         Establish effective communications with networking and mainframe
teams to support a wide array of multi-platform systems

·         Write adaptable code for communicating with a Unisys mainframe

·         Integrate with LDAP to provide user authentication across all
internal web sites

·         Write code the conforms to best practice using design patterns,
including but not limited to Builder, Chain of Responsibility, Decorator,
Façade, Observer, Proxy, and Singleton

·         Write custom tag libraries and web services

·         Responsible for interviewing, training, and mentoring team members
on new features and technologies

·         Install and configure Apache web server and Tomcat with mod_jk on
RHEL, Fedora and Debian

*Required Experience:*

·         Must have strong experience working with MVC frameworks, to
include Spring MVC and Struts

·         Must have developed Hibernate based applications and have a firm
understanding of Hibernate concepts

·         Excellent understanding of application servers, multi-tier
architectures (presentation to persistence)

·         Extremely strong core Java coding skills, including an
understanding of optimization, performance and object-oriented design

·         Understanding of system architecture and design including
clustering, scalability and monitoring.

·         Strong understanding of dependency injection, AOP and Spring
security concepts

·         Must be familiar with XML binding frameworks such as XMLBeans,

We have a need to fill a 6 month contract position for an Senior Informatica
Developer to help coordinate communication efforts between our offshore and
onshore team.  They will work closely with our onsite IBM Offshore lead and
assist them with communication and coordination efforts.  The candidate must
be a strong communicator  who is able to work independently, and must
have significant Informatica development experience.  Since they will be
helping with offshore coordination, they will also need to be available at
non-standard hours on occasion.

*Position Summary*

Provides technical expertise and direction in developing and supporting
system-level programs, interfacing with customers on requirements. The
individual in this position participates in all phases of the data warehouse
development cycle. The incumbent is responsible for production support and
maintenance of the data warehouse, and coordinates work with a team of
offshore developers.

*Experience
** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
* Typically seven or more years of experience in systems development and
programming
* Familiarity with line-of-business legacy systems
* Experience as a team leader on project teams in a cross-functional
environment
* Experience in design and implementation of data warehouse and interfaces
required

*Responsibilities
** Code extract and summarization routines
* Code, test, and implement complex programs; develop appropriate programs
and systems documentation according to established IT standards
* Lead the support and troubleshooting of production systems as required,

* Plan, schedule, and conduct decision support system tests; monitor test

We have a need to fill a 3 month contract position for a strong Informatica
Performance Tuning Developer. The candidate must be very strong in
Informatica performance tuning and must be able to work independently to
solve complex Informatica SQL issues. Please submit candidates to me by end
of day on 5/24/10. Bill rate should be market, we’ll take it in to
consideration as we review candidates.

The individual provides Informatica and Oracle SQL Performance Tuning. This
person is responsible for tuning existing development without losing
business functionality and works with the team on system performance
