Title: *Sr. OBIEE Developer with Business analyst *experience Location: Birmingham AL Duration: 12 months Please don't send me Jr profiles or developers for the below 1 position and candidate *must have excellent communications skills*. * * * * *POSITION PURPOSE:* The business analyst will serve as the primary end user interface to lead the information requirements articulation process. They will deliver industry best practices and established metrics to the team to jumpstart the requirements gathering process. This role will serve as the bridge between DW development and the user communities and translate business requirements to technical specifications using the DW Development methodology. This candidate should have solid strengths in the following areas: 1) Quickly understand the client business model including drivers and business processes 2) Practical knowledge of information (not just data) specification leadership and design and 3) project management experience 4) acceptance testing and 5) end user training including both application functionality and business process change management. *PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Serve as the primary business contact for information requirements 2. Provide information thought leader to business users 3. Facilitates sessions with the users to gather functional requirements 4. Discover, analyze, synthesize and document information needs for both analytical and decision support and operational reporting and monitoring 5. Develops a business case for information requests that includes measurable performance improvement 6. Ensures that all participants comply with the DW PMM 7. Collaboratively creates solution with business users and DW team 8. Facilitates sessions with the users to validate the functional design of the solution 9. Represents the interests of the user community in the technical design process 10. Works with the development team to develop the System Test Plan 11. Develops components of the User Acceptance Test Plan 12. Executes components of the User Acceptance Process 13. Create a forecast of resource requirements to be used by the DW Development team for resource planning 14. Provide end user solution training which includes functional training in context to business process execution 15. Perform project administration tasks 16. Measure and report measurable performance improvement forecast to actual *EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:* 1. 3 years of practical business experience or end user BI consulting 2. 5 years of BI experience 3. 2 years of Oracle Business Intelligence implementation experience 4. 2 years of Project Management experience 5. Training experience 6. Strong analytical skills 7. Bachelors in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field 8.
