CAD Administrator /Support Analyst:  The qualified professional will be
responsible for supporting the operational uptime of engineering systems,
hardware and software support at multiple ITAR compliant locations.



*Key Responsibilities: *



•             Provides administration and support for client’s Global CAD
systems.

•             Supports local IT with CAD tool installations,
setups/configurations.

•             Supports software maintenance updates and hot fixes

•             Maintains installation procedures and list of tool versions to
employee & lab installations.

•             Work directly with HW & SW vendors as needed.

•             Works with tool vendors to fix tool issues, and writes reports
when necessary

•             Troubleshoot and uncover root causes of broad range of
technical problems encountered by internal customers.

•             Building, deployment and daily maintenance activities of all
Engineering HW & SW at assigned locations

•             Provide end-user support as needed for internal and external
customers

•             Work with internal Engineering Management and IT Field Support
to identify and deploy required software and toolsets.

•             Provide technical CAD support to other client sites as
required.

•             Work with client IT as needed in support of user accounts,
back-office applications, server and network issues.

•             Execute data backup and disaster recovery requirements as
established in client procedures.

•             Ensure the security of client and client data in compliance
with requirements.

•             Tests new releases of CAD tools prior to deployment on active
programs.

•             Writes scripts when necessary to improve productivity.

•             Develops & improves Library and CAD tool process
documentation.

•             Package software applications for global distribution and
perform regression testing.

•             Perform system analysis, tuning & optimization for local
client systems as well as for our server based components.

•             Analyze and resolve data corruption and localized performance
issues.

•             Define and document best practices and oversee user adoption.

•             Support end users and peers in areas of application use,
problem solving and training to achieve measurable skill improvement.



*Key Requirements:  5+ years overall experience in advanced system
administration.*

• Ability to assess a business situation and develop and establish
priorities.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a
fast-paced environment.
