Must have technical and functional upgrade experience. The selected candidate found a local project and we need a replacement. Expenses will be paid but the candidate needs to be very strong. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* Senior SAP BW resource with experience in at least 1 technical BW 7.0 upgrade and 1 functional migration to BW 7.0 At least 1 full lifecycle implementation on BW 7.0 Must have good experience migrating backend data flows (Update rules/transfer rules to transformations) and BEX 3.x to 7.0 versions Excellent communication and client interaction skills Ability to provide knowledge transfer on BW 7.0 functionality and best practices to client resources Hands on project experience with BusinessObjects (XI 3.1, WebI, Xcelsius, Crystal, Universe) or BPC a plus *1.1.1 - IN SCOPE: * In place technical upgrade (without Unicode conversion) of the Tennant BW 3.5 systems to BI 7.0 for the Development, QA and Production landscape Installation of BI Java Portal 1 week of post upgrade support Knowledge transfer of key BI 7.0 functionality to Tennant resources Regression testing of existing extractors and reports Pilot migration of the back end data flow for 1 module or subject area to BI 7.0.
