**WE DON'T WANT PURE TECHNOLOGISTS BUT RATHER MORE ON THE ANALYSIS SIDE OF
BUSINESS.

Member of a web analytics team in the company’s Marketing Department
dedicated to understanding and growing their e-commerce business on the
company’s  website and via mobile and social platforms. As part of their
Internet Strategy and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) group within
the Interactive Marketing organization, this position will support internal
marketing teams by using the Omniture Insight analytics platform to suggest,
create and execute fundamental improvements to the company website
experience, site marketing, conversion rates and reporting based on proven
analytic methodologies. Examples include quantitative and qualitative
analyses of site usage, customer experiences, clickstreams, outcomes,
conversions, campaigns, search, customer feedback details and lead creation.
Project exposure will be from idea inception through senior management
presentations.
Applicants should expect to create business-relevant reports for multiple
online businesses as well as deep-dive and ad-hoc analyses, experimentation,
and interpretation of industry- and company-specific information. This
position will develop recommendations for senior management, as well as more
general business efforts. It will also provide support and training to other
Marketing personnel, including non-technical or non-analytic teams, on web
data principles, concepts and metrics.
The successful candidate will be part of a web analytics team which includes
other analysts and a small IT team. This team is responsible to ensure that
the analytic platform remains solid, new website releases have adequate
analytics integration, data collection methodologies are optimal,
pre-release testing is thorough, experimentation is robust, analyses and
insights are based on solid methods and metrics, and they correlate clearly
with customer experience and behavior on the website.

*Requirements:*
Several years of prior experience in e-commerce analytics on large
transactional web site(s), plus airline strategy experience and hands-on
experience with the Omniture Insight analytics platform (previously Visual
Sciences) are key qualifiers. Strong written and verbal communication skills
are necessary, including an ability to collaborate across departments and
with all levels of management while juggling multiple priorities.
An ability to understand website architecture and data collection methods
for web tools is required. A bachelor’s degree is required; MBA preferred.
Experience with business intelligence systems, database systems, marketing
performance analysis, website A/B or multivariate testing, and extensive use
of Excel while working for a large company with many functions/business
units, are also helpful.
