Rate :DOE Description: This senior-level technical support expert is a highly qualified individual producer who applies a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of technical concepts, practices and procedures. Incumbents are competent to work at the highest technical levels, displaying specialized technical mastery gained through seasoning and/or special development. The incumbent generally is a member of quick-response user-support team and regularly works under challenging situations and demanding deadlines. The consultant operates independently, and with only very general direction. Errors cause significant visible delay, expense and/or disruption to the end-user. Representative Principal Duties and Responsibilities: . Analyzes client requirements/standards to develop and implement client-focused IT solutions. . Interfaces with upper management to understand and provide IT solutions consistent with business unit or group(s) needs. . Directs the development and implementation of IT strategies focusing on one or more specialized disciplines to meet HCMS client requirements/needs. . Acts as IT subject matter expert and assist HCMS functional management in the planning and implementation of client IT deliverables. . Partners with IT Project Management Office in the development and monitoring of IT schedules and deliverables, including the tracking of all funds associated with the contract, program, and project. . Plans and manages small technical projects in partnership with HCMS Service Delivery Managers. . Ensures applicable IT service/operating procedures and practices are in compliance with industry standards and relevant regulations/laws. . Ensures that all IT issues relative to project delays or client concerns are resolved on a timely basis or escalated to upper management. . Drive overall Infrastructure security architecture . Work closely with product team and engineering team to ensure that products meet or exceed customer security and certification requirements. This includes ensuring that the security architecture is well document and communicated. Education and Typical Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology, and 5+ years of job-related experience. Specific Requirements: Project management experience in an infrastructure oriented environment required ITIL Processes Leadership skills Customer skills Security certification like CISSP, CISA or CISM is plus. Excellent Verbal and Written Communications Technical experience: Hardware, Network, Storage, UNIX, Microsoft, Linux, Storage Solutions (SAN), Oracle, Server technologies, Web /Application Server technologies, Architecture and Infrastructure Design, Disaster Recovery, High Availability, Infrastructure Consolidation.
