Send me your resume across [email protected] ASAP. *Role: Data Modeler (Erwin, Oracle, Unix, SQL)* *Location: NYC* *Length: 6 months +* *Rate: $55/hr* *Relational Database Programmer * * Responsibilities:** * *- Responsible for translate business requirements into enterprise data architecture solutions. * *- Design and build conceptual and logical model for business applications and data warehouse initiatives. * *- Design relational databases and develop database applications. * *- Implement data Quality assessment, performance tuning and optimization. * *- Work with database administrators and development staff to ensure consistent usage, data standards and quality of delivery. * *- Provide oversight for all activities related to database, data quality and data consolidation using standard data modeling methodologies and processes. * *Requirements:** * *Minimum of 5 years experience * *BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Physics * *Candidate should be strong in the following: * *- Strong data modeling skills * *- Proficiency with modeling tools (ERWin is Preferred) * *- Strong database design, development, testing and performance turning skills * *- Hands on relational database programmer using Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and analytical functions * *- Working experience with large scale database, data warehouse and TM1 implementation * *- Proficiency with Unix scripting languages, such as Shell or Perl * *- Analytical and problem solving skills * *- Communication skills and team player * *Other desirable skills:** * *- Java or C/C++, XML * *- MS Office Suite of tools * *- Knowledge of financial products, especially structured products* Shailaja Aim Computer Consulting N.
