Job Description: *Summary of Functions*: This individual is responsible for testing wireless handset applications, middle-tier-ware, and Web-based GUI’s being developed for the commercial mobile location product space. Will work closely with functional analysts, development staff, and end users to fully understand product requirements and to deliver quality products. *Major Duties and Responsibilities*: · Active participation in review of software life cycle deliverables, including functional specification and design documentation. · Generate Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation. · Execute test cases for wireless handset drivers, API’s, and applications. · Execute a variety of product test suites such as functional, regression, end-to-end, performance, and load tests. · Develop and execute automated and manual tests. · Primary responsibility will be mobile handset device testing. · May also be involved in testing web-based GUIs, Unix batch processing environments, and a wide variety of SQL query-based reports and data presentation applications. · SQL query results verification, Unix shell scripting and test case execution. · Contribute to process improvements and to software quality best practices. · Follow corporate policies and procedures. · Other functions as required. *Knowledge & Skills:* * * · Solid test methodology skills and practices. · Experience with BREW, Windows Mobile, RIM, and/or Android handset device testing. · Experience with Location Based services and/or applications. · Experience with working in Linux/Solaris operating systems. · Experience with database management systems (Oracle, MySQL, etc). · Minimum 3 years experience in Unix and SQL processing environments. · Experience developing and executing test scripts for telephony applications. · Quality orientation with a strong eye for detail. · Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills. · Flexible and able to adapt to the changing priorities and work under pressure. · Display high level of self-motivation. · Effective at working in a geographically diverse work culture. * * ****SEND RESUMES TO [email protected]* I look forward to your reply!
