Sr. Software Engineer or Systems Engineer Alexandria, VA 2years+ Job Description: This position is for a Sr. Information Engineer who will be involved in analysis, design, software programming/development and support of complex large scale applications, adopting the full Life Cycle methodology. Job Responsibilities: 1.Participate in the design and development or enhancing business functions. 2.Perform Logical data modeling, physical transformation including the design reviews. 3.Develop, design, tune, and review SQL and PL/SQL code. 4.Perform various types of testing, related test preparation and quality assurance process. 5.Comply with various project standards and requirements of the company as well as the customer and legal requirements of (SEC-508).
Required Skill Set and Educational Qualifications: 1.Must have a BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any quantitative Sciences. 2.Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in design and software development in a large scale client-server environment. 3.Must have experience with in-depth full life cycle software design and development on large/complex Online/Real-Time Transaction Processing systems or Data Warehouse applications. 4.Must have knowledge of Oracle RDBMS V9i, and 10g. 5.Must have in-depth experience as a SQL developer in a client server environment. 6.Must have hands-on programming experience in SQL/PL, Crystal Reports, and Business Objects. 7.Must have knowledge and expertise in Relational data base concepts and usage of SQL, PL/SQL. 8.Must have the ability to troubleshoot, tune, and implement bug fixes and enhancements within tight deadlines is a must. 9.Must have proven ability to manage, prioritize and execute multiple concurrent software development project activities. 10.
