The candidate will have extensive hands-on experience working as part of an application development team operationally administering and supporting multiple instances of DB2 UDB DPF (Data Warehouse and Transactional). *Responsibilities*: - Conduct production database releases - Assist developers with performance analysis and tuning of database configuration and SQL - Create and maintain standard scripts for database maintenance, release management and information life-cycle management using PERL and Unix Shell - Review and implement physical models for developers including partitioning and multidimensional clustering choices - Perform capacity and configuration management for databases - Establish standards and best practices and implement database security and auditing procedures - Conduct training on database features, tools and new technologies *Skills Required *** * * 5+ years of DB2 UDB administration 3+ years Database Partitioning Feature (DPF) 3+ years Perl/Shell scripting Skills Desired Microsoft Analysis Services administration experience Skill Proficiency Senior Shailaja Aim Computer Consulting N.
