Requirement-1 Title: Java Consultant Location: Syracuse, NY Duration:5+mnts Description: Applicants will be responsible to conduct analysis, coding and unit testing for Java/J2ee Struts 2 web applications. Candidates will be interacting with Project managers, system analysts and business analysts. Key Requirements: Requirements: • 5-7 years of web programming JAVA J2EE applications. Need to have expertise with core Java, J2EE, Web logic, Web Services, Hibernate, and Struts 2.0. • Ability to interface with both technical and business individuals. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with Mutual Funds, Asset Management or Fund Management industry software and/or systems desirable. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience. Requirement-2 Title: Software Engineer Location: New York City Duration:6mnoths Description: The engineers will be responsible for creating and maintaining systems to support the firm’s business functions. You will be working closely with clients (end-users) to complete the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of those systems. You should be capable of developing architecturally sound, modular, maintainable component-driven applications. Applicants must have demonstrated prior experience in both leading and participating in the analysis, design and development (coding) of client/server business applications. Experience must encompass client/server, database, systems integration, and reporting. While prior experience with entertainment oriented business systems is a plus, it is not a requirement. Skills Required: • Excellent Java development skills (design and coding), knowledge of and experience with Analysis and Design Patterns within J2EE • Experience using UML (Unified Modeling Language) and • Experience using Web Logic. • Prior experience creating systems in an Oracle environment is a significant plus.
