A good background in the software development process. The person selected should know the basic process from requirements, development, implementation, testing, and final deployment. 2. Solid knowledge of MS Sql Server, to include SQL and Transact Sql scripting. This does not require DBA knowledge but is more complicated than simple queries. 3. Solid knowledge of a scripting language Java, VB Script and the associated best practices in scripting. 4.
