Send me your resume across [email protected] ASAP. *Need: Weblogic Portal developer.* *Duration: 3 to 6 months* *Rate $70hr max* Under the supervision of the Right Rate Tech Lead this position will be responsible installing Weblogic Portal as well developing a Proof of Concept using Weblogic Portal. *Specific responsibilities:* - Follow the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) when planning and executing on projects. - Attend business meetings to gather requirements for projects. Analyze business requirements and provide Subject Matter Expertise in web application development. - Document technical designs. - Enforce best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews. - Participate in Development, Unit Test, and Release Management in an n-tier development environment. - Report and track code defects using HP Quality Center. - Install WebLogic Portal on developer workstations as well as on station - Develop a Proof of Concept based on business requirement needs - Develop and run automated functional tests with JUnit and QTP; load tests with Mercury LoadRunner. Analyze, summarize and present the results to management. - Submit weekly timesheets using Clarity Niku - Follow Performance Management process. Must have a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent training, experience and education. Sun certification a plus. - Must have excellent written and oral communications skills - Experience with *Core Java, J2EE, Weblogic, Apache, Weblogic Portal* - Extensive experience with web technologies (JSP, HTML, Stylesheets, SSL, JavaScript) - Experience in web application technologies (XML, AJAX, Web Services, Spring, Hibernate) - Experience with database technologies (PL/SQL, JDBC, Oracle) - Experience with UML, OOA&D, RUP - Experience in source control and build tools *(CVS, ANT, MAVEN)* Shailaja Aim Computer Consulting N.
