Loc: Houston, Texas *Duration: 6+ months (most of my consultants out there in this group have been there for 3+ years)** Inclusive Pay Rate: $60 hr. C2C {MAXXXXXX}* *Local candidates will be considered first!* Minimum of 10 years exp in IT Solution Development projects; with 5 years of recent experience as an Oracle Applications Developer The team said the most important thing in this position is the candidates HR exp along with Oracle Financials (like AP/AR, etc.) This is a R12 upgrade so they would like to have someone that has been part of an upgrade project - they will start the upgrade during the 1st quarter of next year, but they want to bring this person on now to help get ready for it. Must have production support in their background as well. This is a very Sr. Level position for a true consultant - they must have very good communication skills to interact with the different teams. *Specific skills needed:* - Experience in several lifecycle implementations of Oracle Applications and Upgrades. - Experience with *Oracle EBS R12 Upgrade/Support* - Working knowledge of Oracle 10g/11g database concepts - Experience in process analysis, process design, mapping, and process/software gap analysis required - *Experience with Computer Systems Validation, SOX and other IT Best Practices* - Experience with converting data from legacy systems is a plus - Ability to recognize a problem and provide solutions as required by the Business - Strong technical analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving abilities - Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills and team-player attitude *Experience in the following technical areas:* - ORACLE WORKFLOW - ORACLE FORMS & REPORTS - ORACLE DISCOVERER development & administration - ORACLE BI PUBLISHER - Oracle Applications Development Framework, JDeveloper, Personalization (preferred) - Oracle SQL tuning and optimization - Oracle PL/SQL and TOAD - Shell scripting and familiarity with UNIX commands - Oracle Packages, procedures, functions, Materialized views & backend development - Business Intelligence (preferred) - Interfaces and conversions - Familiar with oracle Applications Development Coding Standards - Business Process Engineering, Project Management and/or similar ERP implementation methodologies required *Significant Duties/Responsibilities:* *This resource is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the Oracle e-Buisiness Suite Applications for Financials, HRMS, & Supply Chain modules.* They need to be a Senior Level Oracle Applications Developer - a strong candidate in WORKFLOW BUILDER, ORACLE FORMS & REPORTS, BI PUBLISHER, DISCOVERER, interfaces & conversions. Should be able to work on enhancement projects and should be able to support and troubleshoot production support issues. Participate in all activities in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. Will use existing and emerging technology platforms to support and document technically detailed distributed applications. Writes new complex systems, designs/codes programs and creates test transactions. Must also have extensive experience supporting distributed applications.
