The person will be part of a team of Ab Initio developers - Analyze requirements and provide work effort estimate. - Perform data requirements analysis and create design specification and operational documentation. - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on assigned Projects, Production Services processes, products, and technologies to all areas of the business. - Analyze functional requirements, mapping documents, assist in problem solving and trouble shooting. - Coding, testing, modifiying, debugging, documenting, and implementation of Ab Initio Graphs. - Performance Tuning of Ab Initio graphs, processes, and load routines. * * *Job Qualifications* 2 to 5 years AbInitio development experience: - Strong UNIX and Shell Scripting experience is a must. - Broad-based cross-functional IT experience in application development and interface design is essential. - Must have sound experience using databases such as Oracle and Teradata. - Must be able to interpret the transformation rules and develop the software components to support the same. - Excellent Analysis and problem solving skills. - Must work well in a collaborative, team environment as well as independently. - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. - Data Warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies knowledge and experience is preferred. *Experience with Large Data Warehouse updated in Near Real Time Experience in the Financial Services Industry Experience with one or more of the following is a big plus: * *- Business Intelligence Technology** * Educational requirements: BA/BS Language requirements (including proficiency levels for speaking, reading, and writing): English excellent.
