Send me your resume across [email protected] ASAP. *Need: Senior Project Manager.* *Location: Tallahassee, FL* *Contract length – Through 2014* *Rate - Open* *Client: State of Florida* *Please do not send me just a resume – if you have a good candidate I will need their skills matrix before I can accurately evaluate them.* · Bachelor of Science/Arts degree · 7+ years of project management experience including 3 years of supervisory experience · *Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) * · Demonstrated experience managing large-scale software implementation projects with the following characteristics: ü Managing multiple projects or programs ü Managing other Project Managers (required for Lead Project Manager only) ü Managing staff resources across multiple projects ü Multi-million dollar budget ü Within a matrix environment ü Very large high-profile projects • Demonstrated experience developing multi-year, resource-leveled project schedules • Demonstrated experience preparing status updates and providing executive briefings • Demonstrated ability to facilitate large focus-group sessions, webinars, interviews, or other meetings • Demonstrated ability to produce business or technical documentation related to the requirements, specifications, design, or training • Experience implementing large-scale data warehouse solutions desirable • Experience working with software or hardware vendors is desirable • An understanding of State of Florida rules and regulations is desirable • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is desirable *Deliverables * Key deliverables include, but are not limited to the following: • Project timelines and budgets for multiple phases of projects across the grants. • Any documents or clarifications as required for state and federal approvals. • Key deliverables include the following documentation: § Operational Work Plan (See link: http://trw.state.fl.us) § Project Management Plan (PMP) that includes detail documentation defining the project planning, organization, and implementation steps associated with the deployment process. § Project Plans. § Project Control and Change Control processes. (issue log, change log) § Risk Management Plan (risk register, risk tracking, mitigation and issue tracking). § Budget and Financial Management including Cost Analysis/ Cost Benefits. § Written reviews of design specifications to ensure that objectives related to process improvements/simplification/alignment to business requirements are met. § Program Quality Assurance Plans for conformity to requirements. § Periodic status reports detailing accomplishments, issues, and tasks in progress. (communications plans) § Requirements documents produced during group sessions aimed at process simplification and alignment with business requirements. § A thoroughly and unambiguously documented system. § Training curriculum and staff training delivery. § Written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.
