*Role: SharePoint/Program Management Consult* *Location: Evansville, IN* *Duration: 9 month contract* They will hire off a phone interview and start someone early January. This position will have responsibility for SharePoint Architect tasks at an Enterprise level. Need to have the technical background and ability to act as an architect and make strategic decisions at an enterprise level relating to SharePoint and how it can be leveraged across a large global company and across a large portfolio of related projects. * * *REQUIRED: * * * · Architect level knowledge and technical experience with SharePoint. (ability to provide enterprise level vision for SharePoint, not just architect one individual project) · Strong Project Management, and preferably Program Management experience and abilities (specific experience leading SharePoint projects is required). Experience acting as a tech lead or only driving small SharePoint projects won't be adequate. This resource will be planning SharePoint projects on a high level, interfacing with outsourced development and infrastructure providers for the SharePoint environment, and leading another Project Manager or Managers in execution of SharePoint projects. · Excellent analysis skills needed, and ability to work directly with nontechnical business users to develop high-level understanding of requirements and plan for appropriate SharePoint solutions (experience evaluating requirements/requests to determine if they are a good candidate for delivery with SharePoint, look for reusability across multiple requests, determine the best way to use SharePoint for a given need, etc.). *DESCRIPTION: * Strong SharePoint and Project Management skills needed for a consultant to help a large organization plan and deliver on SharePoint technology solutions. This person will be responsible for helping to understanding high-level needs of business users in SharePoint, drive the gathering of requirements and refinement into technical specifications, help to prioritize and plan a large number of SharePoint requests, oversee architecture related activities for the new SharePoint solutions/apps/projects, work on the architecture from an enterprise level or how the different projects fit together, work with outsourced infrastructure providers, help with decisions on whether to build internally or outsource development work, and help to manage the execution of those projects.
