Senior BizTalk/.Net Developer
Summary:
Senior developer with minimum of 10 years of development experience using
Microsoft technologies on .Net platform. The individual selected will be
responsible for working with Project Manager and Architect in implementing a
new BizTalk 2009 platform for processing high volume EDI transaction for
Healthcare industry.
Job requirements
· Excellent knowledge of Biztalk 2006/2006 R2/2009
o Requires Excellent knowledge Biztalk administration and configuration
o Requires Excellent knowledge of Orchestration, Message translation,
Message bus, Adapters, message transformation, parsing, Business rules and
Transaction monitoring (BAM)
· Develop application components using .Net framework (2.0 and higher)
· Excellent knowledge of C#, Visual Studio and Microsoft development
tool set
· Excellent knowledge of EDI HIPAA transactions
· Excellent development knowledge using XML, ANSI X12 standards
· Solid development experience using application integration/middleware
tools and Enterprise Service Bus
· Excellent knowledge of Database concepts and good knowledge of MS SQL
Server, Stored procedures.
· Requires knowledge of integrating mainframe components in the
transaction flow
· Requires knowledge design patterns and concepts
· Good communication skills
Education/Experience:
· Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or
university, preferably in Computer Science or data processing.
· Requires a minimum of 10-12 years experience in Information
technology as a application developer or as a lead developer
· Requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years knowledge of Health care industry,
specifically EDI transactions
· Requires a minimum 4 years experience with BizTalk with experience
upgrading to newer version of BizTalk
· Requires a minimum 5-8 years of experience specifically in the
development and design of high volume application infrastructure components
Knowledge:
1. Requires good knowledge of Infrastructure components in a Distributed
environment
2. Requires excellent knowledge of different technology components that
include Middleware, B2B gateways, Enterprise Service Bus,
3. Requires good knowledge of development tools, SDLC and re-usable
components
4. Requires knowledge of upgrading BizTalk versions
5. Requires knowledge of Java technologies
Second Position:
Lead Programmer Analyst
Technical Development position. This position requires the following skill
sets:
BizTalk knowledge and working experience.
BizTalk architecture knowledge and integration with various other MS products
and legacy applications.
EDI X12 Transaction knowledge and mapping experience; healthcare transactions
required.
Oracle database structures and programming and / or SQL Server programming
experience.
.NET / XML, Visual Studio
· Strong Communication and Documentation skills
· Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
· Team work skills
Technical leadership and project coordination necessary to implement software
products and resolve technical problems.
Work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype,
software deployment, test and administration.
Display problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical
problems.
Experience with distributed technologies
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Interact with the customers to define requirements and resolve production
issues.
· Interact with designers and developers to convey technical leadership in
application design and solution for both problem fixes and planned projects.
· Development and testing of EDI Gateway applications
· Prepare high quality documentation across the entire SDLC.
· Provide administrative reports to the project leader to ensure up-to-date
and accurate information on current projects (PPM).
· REQUIRED SKILLS
· Good knowledge of healthcare and insurance industry applications.
· Solid analytical skills to understand the organization and its functions
quickly.
· Solid technical skills.
· Able to analyze and review current functionality to determine potential
areas of improvement.
· Able to perform development responsibilities in a timely manner, according
to specifications and with quality.
Personal skills such as: possess a strong work ethic, self-starter, a focus on
customer service, possess a high level of energy, have strong oral and written
communication skills, team player, strong organizational skills and the ability
to multi-task.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related
discipline.
· Minimum 15 years information systems experience.
· Minimum 5 years experience in technical writing and
systems analysis of MS technologies.
· Strong skills in systems analysis and documentation.
· EDI experience.
Experience with distributed technologies including but not limited to PCs,
.net, Biztalk, Java, SQL Server, Oracle.
