Job Title: Global Monitoring Tools Administrator (Network Admin) Duration: 6+ months Job Description: The Global Monitoring Tools Administrator is responsible for the configuration and upkeep of the global infrastructure monitoring tools. This position is specifically responsible for Solarwinds Orion version 10 toolset including network performance monitoring, application performance monitoring, Netflow monitoring, and wireless/ VOIP monitoring. Primary Responsibilities: This individual will be responsible for general administration of the Solarwinds Orion and supporting toolsets; responsible for moves/add/ changes to the operating environment, including but not limited to: server monitoring, application monitoring, netflow monitoring, wireless and Voice over IP monitoring, as well as documenting the monitoring request and change control documentation. Skills/Education Required: Required Monitoring tools experience; 3 or more years experience in a complex computing environment; familiarity with TCP/IP stack and basic routing principles; availability for occasional after-hour and weekend work Preferred skills Solarwinds Orion or HPOpenView equivalent experience in an enterprise environment x3 years; Exposure to a variety of enterprise monitoring tools. Working understanding of SNMP, WMI, and ICMP; experience with SQL report writing, database mining preferred.
