Position: Mobile onsite Test lead Job Description: - At least 7 years of experience in software. - 2-3 years of experience preferred in mobile testing or development on iPhone and/or Android platforms. - Understanding and experience on automation testing, performance testing of mobile devices. Hands on experience of Device Anywhere product a plus. - Expertise in native android/iPhone mobile app testing using manual and automated tools. - Should be an authority on various types of testing and process required to launch mobile apps. Should be able to advocate and drive testing on emulators, devices, use of automation etc. - Understand the technical and business needs of the project and work with the project teams and offshore teams to create a test strategy. Bring mobile testing expertise on Android and iOS to the table and decide along the approach to testing with the offshore team. - Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure QA alignment throughout the project. - Ensure QA scope/schedule management and advise project team on decisions that affect QA scope and schedule. - Call out risks to quality and schedule and work with the project team to mitigate risks. - Communicate business/technical needs, constraints to offshore team. - Report on test preparation and execution progress and own timely completion of QA deliverables as per the control framework and project plan. - Communicate offshore team constraints/issues/needs to project team. - Run and manage defect triage calls with project team and vendors. - Confidant, strong personality who can work under fast changing environment and drive the best interest of the client when multiple stakeholders have conflicting priorities. * If you need any more information, please feel free to call.
