Job Title: QA/Systems Analyst Location: Washington, DC Duration: 5+ Months Contract The client is coming in DC to Face to Face Interview candidate on Thursday morning starting at 10am. BACKGROUND: Systems Analyst provides testing support of the Financial Operations Systems and is needed to supplement existing staff. SCOPE OF WORK: The position’s essential duties include the following: Test finished functionality to check for issues, before presenting the final product to the customer Created test plans to help facilitate testing Walk customers through user acceptance testing to help them to verify functionality was working properly. Review and critiqued detailed specifications for new functionality requests Participate in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospectives; Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, task definition; Document business requirements; develop training programs, documents, and materials; Participate in requirements reviews, design reviews, and change control activities; REQUIRED SKILL-SET AND EXPERIENCE: Proposed resource should possess a minimum of 5 years of industry experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the following technologies and disciplines: Demonstrated experience with increasingly complex system analysis projects Experience developing user stories based on business and system requirements Experience defining and elaborating user stories with validation and acceptance criteria Experience with various requirements gathering techniques and methodologies (UML/ Use cases, Activity diagrams, JAD sessions). Hands-on QA testing experience in client server and/or web-based environment Experience developing manual and automated test scripts Experience with 3rd party testing and change management tools Experience with Scrum and/or other Agile Development frameworks Experience with automated requirements engineering and testing tools RDBMS experience (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle) and ability to write SQL queries.
