Job Title: Software QA Analyst Location: Boston, MA (Must be Local to NH, RI or MA) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Max Rate: $35/hr Must be Local to NH, RI or MA - In person interview is Must. Hours per Week: 37.5 Need someone with the following skill set: About 3- 6 years of experience testing and supporting Hyperion Planning/Essbase and Interactive Reporting solutions. At least 2 years of experience with Release Management processes and procedures 2+ Full Lifecycle implementations of Hyperion Planning and Essbase solutions Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM v11+ with a focus on Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Interactive Reporting tools Duties: Develop test plans and procedures to test application requirements at the development level; the goal is to ensure that the requirements have been testes and no unintended consequences exist. Execute the tests and track test bugs to resolution Participate in technical team meetings Provide release management services for the systems development team This position requires someone who handle software testing responsibilities as well as release management responsibilities. Experience Required: At least 5+ years of IT testing experience. At least 3 years of experience as a senior test technical resource on IT projects At least 2 years experience with release management processes and procedures Knowledge of business process analysis and formal development methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to translate complex business requirements into test cases Hyperion Planning experience a must. Must have excellent human relations, communications and analysis skills, planning and organizational proficiency and good business judgment. Must be familiar with IT business practices and be able to interface and integrate with IT and Agency functional areas. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Ability to perform related duties, as required. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree with a major in the field of computer science, information science, 8+ years in software testing and release management roles on large scale technology projects Experience with automated test tools Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence theory and concepts.
