Job Title: Senior C# (.Net/Web) Developer Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration: 6-9 Months Contract As a member of the Development Team, the Senior C# (.Net/Web) Developer will provide the programming expertise required to complete development of the new system. Good communication and collaboration skills are a must as this individual will work closely with management and the current application development team. This Information Technology professional will be expected to perform the following tasks and deliver services and products as outlined: Review requirements and design documents and gain a complete understanding of the proposed new system. Develop the new system per the documented specifications. Perform unit and system testing and assist with the coordination of user acceptance testing. Respond to all issues reported out of testing and resolve all items determined to be defects. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities: Required: Seven+ years of IT work experience in application development and maintenance activities with the Microsoft.Net framework, C#, Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS). Extensive knowledge and actual work experience with ASP .Net, C#, MVC, Entity Framework and web services. Extensive knowledge and actual work experience with JavaScript, jQuery (or other framework) and AJAX. Hands on experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design principles and Design Patterns. In depth knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 Framework, including Visual Studio, C#, ADO.Net, ASP.Net MVC, and Web Services (ASMX, WCF, Web API, RESTful services). Experience in delivering fully unit tested code. Experience with Dependency Injection and IoC tools preferred. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and writing/tuning T-SQL. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to multitask.
