Job Title: Java Developer Location: Westlake Village, CA Duration: 6+ Months Contract Must be local to CA Summary: Java Developer for critical J2EE web application. Application manages plasma quality release function for manufacturing plants in multiple geographies, producing plasma based Bio-pharmaceuticals. You'll be a critical member of a larger team, responsible for design/development/support of the Automated Plasma Dispositioning web application. Key Responsibilities: Interact with business, vendors and project management to understand requirements, priorities, timelines Support the operation of application in production for efficient manufacturing operations Troubleshoot system related issues and ensure quick recovery Perform preventive maintenance and proactive planning measures to avoid system downtime Contribute to design of newer enhancements, develop using J2EE, JSP/Struts technologies Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures and Crystal reports Develop interfaces to external enterprise systems Create package builds for deployment, code review, perform unit/integration testing Key Skills/Experiences: 8+ years in Java technologies Developing web applications using Java/J2EE, EJB, DAO, JSP, JavaScript, Struts Oracle database SQL, PL/SQL stored procedures and triggers Developing Crystal Reports / other similar reporting platforms Validated computer systems a plus Domain exposure in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain processes, validated computer system, pharmaceutical environment a plus Java Certification preferred.
