 Title: Front End Developer

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: Long Term

Description:

The candidate must possess experience in advanced JavaScript concepts,
CSS3, less/sass, responsive design.  Furthermore the candidate should
posses knowledge of Spring MVC or equivalent, SVN, and OO concepts, and
build frameworks such as Maven.   Java is now required on this position.

Client  is looking for a  mid to senior level Platform Engineers with a
specialization in JavaScript/CSS3 to work with members of the platform
engineering team to develop JavaScript components based around reusable
models.

 This candidate should specialize in the *tablet browsers* and *DOM *variations
across desktop operating systems and environments.

This position is not strictly Javascript, and will entail encoding middle
and front-end tiers of a Web application utilizing the technologies listed
below.

 *Essential Accountabilities:*

Specializes in the development of *HTML/CSS/Javascript* style coding

Ability to debug *Javascript, CSS* in browsers and dealing with nuances of
IE 9+

Participate in an Agile scrum development team, providing story point
estimates and tracking effort against task, weekly grooming sessions,
sprint planning, and daily stand ups.

Participate in quarterly planned after-hours release planning and execution

 *Required Experience:*

·         3 years experience programming web applications professionally

·         Requires JS/Common JS or any other JavaScript Module Loader

·         Experience with *Javascript frameworks such as Dojo, ExtJs,
JQuery, or Angular.*

·         Understanding of *Spring 3.X MVC* (or equivalent), Tiles 2.0,
Servlets/JSPs, JSTL EL Syntax, Error Handling, Validators, Filters, JQuery
(or equivalent), CSS, HTML, *AJAX*

 *Additional skills in these areas will be considered a plus:*

·         HTML5, JUnit, REST,SOAP, WSDL, XML, JSON, PL/SQL, Maven/ANT,
JBoss/Tomcat, CVS/SVN/GIT, MySQL, Apache, Amazon services!

·         Proven experience and high comfort level with object oriented
techniques!

·         Basic Unix skills (SSH/tunneling, navigating Unix environment,
SCP/SFTP to transfer files)

·         Ability to research and solve problems on his/her own using
Google, newsgroups, vendor support and other external resources

·         Ability to analyze business requirements and identify possible
gaps, missing scenarios, etc.

·         Review existing code and recommend refactoring where applicable

·         Responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of projects

·         Must be comfortable to represent application development
interests in cross departmental meetings and brainstorms

·         Like all computer programming, this activity is almost entirely
problem-solving.

 *Candidates with the following technology experience will be given
preferred consideration:*

·         Experience with* libraries *such as: Angular.js, RequireJS,
TinyMCE or CKEdit,

·         Grunt, Node.js, JQuery, Groovy, Gherkins, Cucumber, Minify, LESS,
SASS, Unit

·         Testing JS, Responsive Design, Bootstrap

·         Experience in building data-driven web applications

·         Understanding of Progressive Enhancement to utilize HTML5/CSS3
when available

·         Firm grasp of responsive design and the implications on
development

·         Experience in developing applications support Section 508
Compliance

·         Expert in W3C coding standards and cross-browser compatibility

·         Cloud Experience (AWS)

Title: Java Developer

Location: Wilmington, DE

Duration: 10 Months

Description:


If the candidate is local or can come to Wilmington for a face to face,
that is great. (Face to face interviews are allowed in Wilmington, if
requested)

Core Java skills a Must!

Spring Framework, MVC



Preferred Qualifications:

- 7+ years of experience developing applications.

- Experience with multi-tier system design and implementation.

- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

- In-depth knowledge of Java.

- In-depth knowledge of web presentation methods (HTML, XSL, CSS,
JavaScript, etc.).

- Experience writing unit tests and using unit test mocking frameworks.

- Knowledge of automated functional testing tools a plus.

- Experience with Spring Framework and Spring MVC a plus.

- Experience with open source a plus.

- Knowledge of enterprise application design patterns.



Assigned to one or more agile project teams. As a member of a project team,
you will assume various roles including leadership positions as well as
design, code and test roles. This includes development of applications
using third party tools, development of web services, and web development
using open source tools.

The developer will participate in technical design, development and
implementation of application systems. As part of this work, they will
attend meetings to understand desired results, coding, unit and/or system
testing, and will document changes.



In addition, the developer may be assigned non-project or cross-project
roles. Possible roles include support of other IT groups, cross-project
oversight and development tool support. Occasionally requires
troubleshooting and correcting production issues in emergency type
situations.



Basic Qualifications:

- High School Diploma, GED, Equivalent Certification or military experience.

- 5 years of experience in Application Development.

- Experience working on an Agile team or with Scrum.



Responsibilities:

- Work with other members of the project team and business owners to refine
and clarify business requirements.

- Produce technical specifications from project requirements.

- Code and test software to meet corporate standards and within acceptable
defect tolerances of design specifications.

- Work with and learn one or more vendor software platforms for supporting
and creating applications.

- Support and review the work of other developers.

- Properly track progress, effort, issues and resolutions.

- Communicate and document status to project leadership.

- Work with IT and business test groups to support quality and acceptance
tests.

- Assign development activities to self and other developers. Track
progress of assigned activities.

- Ensure that all code retains logical stability, reliability,
confidentiality, and integrity of corporate systems in accordance with
corporate policies, procedures and guidelines, taking appropriate actions
for all violations.
