This is a great opportunity to work alongside of a great team in an excellent work environment on a very complex, high-transaction, enterprise application. We are seeking very good hands-on candidates who have experience with Java, J2EE (including Servlets, JSP, EJB, JMS), Spring MVC, AJAX, Hibernate, JMS, XML, Oracle, Linux for this position. Required Skills: -8+ years of Java development experience • Experience with design and development of enterprise applications, preferably in high-transaction environments. • Passion for emerging technologies / frameworks: Spring MVC, Spring IoC, JQuery, Struts 2.0, REST and other design patterns. • Version control (e.g. SVN, Git), unit testing (JUnit), build (Ant, Ivy), Eclipse. • TDD/BDD, SDLC, enterprise application architecture, systems architecture, working with legacy code, refactoring, application performance tuning, query performance tuning, problem analysis technical writing and excellent verbal communications, self-starter. • Excellent communication and collaboration/teaming skills. Good to have: - Worked with Sun Microsystem • Working in a team using Agile process. Familiarity with automated acceptance testing. Team Lead experience. Application release management experience. Experience configuring development/testing environments and workflows. Long term assignments. UI and user interactions design.
