Job Title: Validation Analyst Location: Vernon Hills, IL Duration: 7+ Months Contract Max Rate: $45/hr Job Description Work with a Global IT Project team to define System Testing and Validation requirements and documentation to be used for Application/System qualification. Develop protocol and unit/system test cases, scripts and plans. Facilitate testing activities within the team and across IT groups. Responsible for cross functional/ business integration testing, application testing, and documentation. Specific responsibilities include: Design Test Plans, Scenarios, Scripts or Procedures Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug re-tests, role based testing, usability, etc., Document software defects, using a bug tracking system (Preferably Quality Center), and report defects to software developers. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. Update automated test scripts to ensure currency. Design or develop automated testing tools. Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source. Extensive Experience in designing and executing End to End System Testing Scripts Extensive Experience in designing and executing User Acceptance Testing Scripts. Have a good understanding on the concepts of UAT and the re-usability between System Testing and UAT Scripts Preferred experience in Customer Service application implementations using SalesForce.com Service Cloud and Interactive Intelligence CIC (or similar ACD And Call Center Management platforms). Demonstrated Experience in Pharma/Lifescineces Industry on quality/regulatory validated applications.
