Job Title: Java Developer / Tech Lead Location: Minneapolis, MN / Boston, MA Duration: 6+ Months Contract Contract – Must be EAD, GC or Citizen *upon offer candidates must complete a background check* *Write-up:* 5+ years of experience with Java, Unix Shell scripting, Java Script, XML. Strong Knowledge/experience with, MQ Series, Object Oriented Language and file transfer protocols. Experience in developing / supporting SSRS reports. 5+ years of experience with Oracle, PL/SQL programing and / or MS SQL. Responsibilities: Expect 70% hands on technical analysis / development work. 30% coordination / management work - MUST understand criticality of the work. Required: This is an application support role. NOT looking for just a developer. Candidate must have an application support and development background. 5+ years of experience with Java, Unix Shell scripting, Java Script, XML. Strong Knowledge/experience with, MQ Series, Object Oriented Language and file transfer protocols. Experience in developing / supporting SSRS or Chrystal reports. 5+ years of experience with Oracle, PL/SQL programing and / or MS SQL. Additional Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience. 2 Knowledge on infrastructure components such as server configuration, storage configuration, load balancing, fail over, disaster recovery etc.. Ability to develop and effectively leverage relationships across an organization at all levels. Strong analytic skills including ability to identify patterns, potential issues and then translate those into functional and test requirements. Solid understanding of business functional areas and business management issues as well as the IT organizations systems and capabilities.
