Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester/Analyst Location: Tallahassee, FL (Local or Nearby) Duration: 1+ Year Contract Max Rate: $40/hr Must be Green Card or US Citizen. Our development environment is: Visual Studio 2010, 2012, .NET 3.5 & 4.0, C#.Net, Nhibernate, MVC, JQuery, DB2 and Oracle IMMEDIATE QUALITY PERFORMANCE will be key in a very high profile project. Candidate will be expected to competently work independently with minimal guidance and will be expected to consistently produce applicable and comprehensive results. Quality Assurance Tester/Analyst – Knowledge Skills and Abilities Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of the system development life cycle; Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and prioritize work assignments; Ability to accurately estimate time requirements for Testing tasks for a project; Ability to manage all phases of testing (i.e. unit testing to user acceptance testing) Ability to evaluate and resolve computer application and system problems; Ability to relate to customers’ needs and perform duties in a service oriented manner; Ability to work effectively with users to identify and document testing requirements for the development and/or maintenance of computer systems; Ability to analyze processes and workflows to design effective testing solutions for the application; Ability to prepare computer program test plans and to create test databases and test environments; Must have 2 years experience with integration and data integrity testing. Must have experience with creating and executing manual test cases. Ability to understand coding requirements and practices, and be able to produce legible and complete test plan for developers, testers and users in a way that thoroughly captures all requirements and design of the product; Must be able to design and develop a testing strategy for complex enterprise level applications with many integrated modules and components. Test complex applications and interpret whether requirements and design were met in the product; Ability to interpret and communicate technical information related to testing, both verbally and in writing; Ability to develop and manage information systems documentation including issue reporting in accordance with the Department’s standards; Ability to identify and define user needs and to analyze and design User Acceptance Test, and report findings to the appropriate project personnel; Ability to receive and give constructive criticism, and maintain effective work relationships with others; Project management knowledge and experience with Risk Management.
