Job Title: Quality Consultant with Healthcare Location: Towson, MD Duration: 7+ Months Contract Max Rate: $35/hr MUST be EAD, GC or Citizen This role is to backfill a person that is leaving. Job Responsibilities: Supervise work of QA team members: QA documentation for projects (test plans, test strategy, QA reports etc.), testing is on schedule as per project plan, mitigate/solve Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them. Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues. Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions. Assist with building out QA Team Process/Procedures and implementing Standards Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plans Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and defects in Team Foundation Server (TFS) Ability to write test cases and execute testing within a web service environment Establish and maintain test cases and test data Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance Work with business users, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyze various required project documents Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system quality Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? Experience working with Agile ALM applications Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Proficiency with MS Visio 3+ years SQL experience What skills/attributes are a must have? Bachelors degree 5+ years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience 5+ years of relational database experience Quality Assurance Team Leadership experience Must enjoy working in an ever changing fast pace environment Experience with QA testing tools Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle What skills/attributes are nice to have? Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) Experience with Test Automation - QTP Scripting, Keyword & Modular Frameworks Healthcare Industry experience What are the work hours? Standard day - 8am EST to 5pm EST. As needed Candidate will need to to start earlier than 8am EST to meet with Offshore team on projects and be present for Production Releases.
