Job Title: Web Designer Location: New York, NY Duration: 4+ Months Contract Max Rate: $42/hr Job Responsibilities: Our client’s Digital team seek an ambitious and talented Senior Web designer for the Holiday season. This individual will be designing and creating editorial features, home and landing pages and special seasonal/shops. RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand the creative and marketing objectives for each project assigned Brainstorm and pattern with Art director and cross-functional partners to create innovative brand communication, translate merchandising strategies to elevate and evolve the brand Collaborate closely with merchants and sometimes marketing to translate merchandising strategy into compelling, brand-right creative. Attend strategy meetings and contribute to setting creative strategy Ensure deadlines for assigned projects are met Manage workflow and project timelines for the web design projects with the aid of the Project Manager and Art Director. Produce, optimize and output final Web-ready digital artwork Maintain absolute accuracy and attention to detail on a variety of projects simultaneously throughout the creative and production process Respond quickly to design challenges and new business needs QUALIFICATIONS: Strong conceptual thinking, problem solving skills, and ability to see the big picture. Advanced level proficiency in Adobe CS.
