- Oracle – currently using and migrating away from Oracle into
Hadoop and H-Base
- Hadoop
- H-Base
- Must be operational focused not a “give me a task” person.
- Understands how to maintain and automate application
- They are moving the servers so they need to know how to
implement all monitoring tools, currently using:
· Sabots,
· AP-D which is the newer version of Whiley
- Ability to use JVM monitoring with Heavy Space and Garbage
monitoring17285
- This is not a heads down role quite people will not be
successful in this role
- Implement monitoring tools and analyses results, trend and
analyze the data
- Maybe this person started on an “eyes on glass” team and move to
more of an operational role within the same team
This is more of an operational/proactive mind set. It is not her is the
problem and fix it, but more of why is this happening, with the DevOps
mindset
