*Interview: Phone Screen followed by F2F or WebEx if not local* *Contract: 6 months + (most likely extensions)* *Client: Wellington* *Keys to the Position:* · 7+ years of Software Engineering experience including working with R. · Experience Developing software using a statistical package (R*, Matlab or S - we are currently using R so this is the requirement but may be flexible for the right candidates if we are not able to find someone with R experience on the Linux platform.* · Must have experience writing shell scripts (Bash or Perl - Perl is preferred) · Proficient with SQL · Experience working with AWS or cloud technologies would be a big + · Experience with Release Engineering is a strong + · Candidate should have experience with Open Source tool kits – ie, Git, Continuous integration, etc. · Experience working with C#, .Net, Excel, and VBA would be a big + · Candidate must have a degree in Mathematics or Computer Science. · Financial services experience is a plus as we are looking for an individual that has a strong mathematical background *Strong Plus:* · Experience with a Statistical package (R ideal; Matlab or S acceptable) · Experience with cloud development and deployment (AWS ideal) · Experience with ETL tool (DataStage ideal) · Knowledge of TDI Tickwrite Thanks and Regards *Padam Singh* Technology Resource Group Inc.
