Please send your available matching candidates on [email protected] Role : IT Security Project/Program Manager Location : Denver, CO Duration : Long Term Interview: phone/ skype Position Description: The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of multiple projects/work-streams that underpin the Baseline Control Improvement Program (BCIP). BCIP is the Global initiative to reduce business risk in terms of information and technology security. The program will deliver a range of guidance/standards and operational security services over a 3 year period to improve our security risk posture. The Project Manager will ensure that any projects under their control are appropriately scoped and have a clear delivery approach defined, taking into account any phasing, planning, quality, cost, risk or resource constraints which may apply. The Project Manager will be required to operate effectively in a dynamic and constantly changing environment, in which people and stakeholders need to be actively engaged depending on the phase of the project. The primary role of the Project Manager is to provide continuity at a project level in terms of direction and leadership, from the capture of requirements through to final implementation. He/she shall ensure that the outcomes are delivered on-time and to budget, whilst meeting (and where possible exceeding) the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders. Main responsibilities will include: Own the end to end delivery of technology security projects across CIO/CISO departmental and companywide regional/line of business boundaries through active leadership and engagement at a project level · Ensure that projects have clear requirements and that any time, cost and quality parameters are defined · Ensure that effective project level governance and reporting requirements are adopted in relation to delivery · Maintain strong relationships with cross functional and virtual team members to facilitate effective delivery · Ensuring effective and timely communications with appropriate stakeholders in terms of delivery objectives, timescales and dependencies etc. · Establish and maintain a project risk log to identify area that may pose a threat to the successful outcomes of the project · Forecast resource demand by reviewing project requirements and ongoing progress, making reasonable efforts to estimate what people and other resources are required to meet the project success criteria · Estimate project costs and manage the budget (includes related scope control) Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience: · Proven track record of delivering complex security projects on-time and to budget whilst managing quality and scope objectives (essential) · Demonstrable experience of managing multiple and complex projects within stated time cost and quality constraints in a global technology environment (essential) · Proven project and program management experience in technology security or a related compliance field e.g. SOX, PCI, ISO 27001 (desirable) · Prince 2, PMP, MAPM or equivalent (essential) · Good understanding of service management principles - ITIL/ITSM etc. · Diploma educated (or equivalent) in a relevant subject · Experience of working in IT/Security/Business/Publishing (desirable) · Strong organization skills · Diligent attention to detail · Ability to communicate and interact well with people · Ability to organize tasks in a logical and efficient manner · Self-organizing and self-motivation and management · Strong time management · Ability to multi-task and make appropriate calls on prioritization · Exceptional communication skills · Delivery focused · Collaborative Samir Reddy Sr. Technical Recruiter 50 Cragwood Rd, Suite 205,South Plainfield, NJ 07080 Rider Consulting Inc.
