Repairs, maintains and provides preventative maintenance for the information identity and access management security systems Performs complex troubleshooting, choosing from among a large number of different procedures to find a solution; solves most problems independently. Supports the creation of new procedures, recommending them to management for adoption. Creates and updates documentation as necessary *Duties and Responsibilities *Ensure SUN (Oracle) IDM environment is up to date as related to ActiveSync/Recons, Scheduled Jobs, Flow of Security Liaison information from Tracker to IDM Address issues with Daily Production tasks Plan/Log/Design/Test/Implement code changes to IDM environment. Complete assigned problem logs Process Remedy Work Orders related to Oracle database User/Roles assignments Plan/Log/Design/Test/Implement significant changes to IDM process to meet business changes and requirements. Address issues related to resource accounts such as LDAP, Active Directory, Lotus Notes, ACF2 and some non-connected IDM managed applications. Address issues related to operations such as ActiveSync/Recons which require CMR/OPS Center involvement. Modify permissions on folders and files; creating new folders; applying NTFS and share permissions Research opportunities to improve security administration procedures and identify industry best practices. Assist in identifying security administration problems and develop solutions Respond efficiently to basic security administration requests and problems. Communicates security administration standards and procedures to IT colleagues and business partners. May participate in new project development initiatives affecting security administration requirements. May assist in the implementation of changes to security administration policies and procedures, as directed by management. Receives limited direction and work in progress is monitored periodically. Helps design appropriate work procedures or approaches to address and/or escalate problems in an efficient manner. *Knowledge and Skills *Typical candidates will possess 4+ years’ experience in technology operations with a BS in a technical field or equivalent experience Advanced skills in designing, coding and maintaining Sun Identity Manager 8.1 Thorough understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts and operations such as synchronization, reconciliation, workflows, resource adapter configurations, bulk updates and the ability to modify and import modules to support code fixes.
