Project Manager – Data Center (F2F) North of Boston 4-6 Months ++ This person will be responsible for working in a Project Management capacity to oversee multiple projects delivering IT infrastructure services. The person will be responsible for leading the full project lifecycle from initiation through closeout including: planning, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation. Provide overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines. Create project plans, establish roles and responsibilities within the core project team and oversee the execution of the plan. Manage budget for assigned project(s), and adjust resources and priorities accordingly. Establish project communication plans. Regularly communicate status of project to all impacted stakeholders. Prepares and presents progress reports for customer management Qualification: § Profound experience in project management disciplines and practices § Knowledge and experience using MS Project § Proficient in Project Life Cycle Management and Implementation § Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio § Excellent verbal and written communication skills Primary Skills required: § Project Management § Certification required: § Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred § ITIL (desired) Experience Required: § Extensive experience in delivering projects in an onsite-offshore model and running global projects. § Extensive experience in project budget, schedule & scope and quality management. § College degree, specialized project management training and/or equivalent work experience § Minimum 8 years of project management work experience § Experience with IT Infrastructure projects. Job Description: § Deliver project according to standards of PMO § Manage project team activities to deliver agreed scope, targets and budget. § Communicate and coordinate day-to-day project activities within the project team and assure that priorities are developed and known. § Establish formal and informal project governance mechanisms. § Identify constructive interventions where necessary to keep projects on track and facilitate or make those interventions appropriately and effectively. § Assure that project milestones / targets are clearly communicated understood within and outside the project such that the appropriate parties can marshal resources and activities to align with project delivery. § Record and report project progress as agreed with management and stakeholders. § Forecast outcomes and translate them into likely financial forecasts. § Assure that the right parties are linked into the project at appropriate points in the project life cycle to affect smooth and successful project handovers. § Ability to Multi Task and begin in a large environment with little training is needed § Willing to work flexible shift timings Technology and Domain: Thanks & Regards….
