A philosophy that balances personal lifestyles, perspectives and needs is an important part of our culture The LDAP Infrastructure engineering Team with Enterprise Security Platforms (ESP) is responsible for engineering and developing directory and identity solutions for the firm. The ESP organization dual reports into Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) and Tech & Info Risk (TIR) within the Tech and Data Division. The internal LDAP infrastructure handles more than 500 million searches per day and used by more than 3000 applications . This is a critical component of firm*s technology stack. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to work in such a large scale deployment. The technology stack owned out by AIM spans all firm employees as well as external clients of the ISG and WM Business Units. It consists of vendor built products , home-grown software, 3rd party and open source products and auxiliary services and solutions. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert for the LDAP space and more specifically; be responsible for proto-typing, designing and delivering robust, scalable, distributed and replicated LDAP infrastructure that span the AIM teams, namely; Enterprise and Web Authentication, Identity Management, LDAP and Identity Data and other ISG and WM Business applications. He/she will be expected to collaborate with managers and lead engineers of the AIM team, broader partners in Security, CTO and Infrastructure as well as clients in order to understand technical and business requirements that will drive solutions. Resulting software, products and services will be then become BAU within existing engineering and operations teams. Solution will vary in size/scope and technology as well as time-frames with an expectation of some parallelization across solutions. In addition, the successful candidate will help formulate the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the team. Given the industry advances and changes, the opportunity presented by a requirement to upgrade most of the technology stack and the fact this product set is now in one team, there's an opportunity to define the strategic LDAP infrastructure platform that will enable security as well as business/mobility requirements of the future.
