Title: *Release Automation Engineer (Product Specific – Nolio)* Location: *Tempe, AZ* Duration: *4 months (likely extension)* Skills: *CA Release Automation (formerly known as Nolio), scripting (shell, python, powershell)* *Job Description:* Technology is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the Enterprise Middleware Services Team as a CA Release Automation (Nolio) Automation Engineer. The team is responsible for Code Migrations from development through production. This individual will be responsible for enhancing and automating the current systems to better enable agile development across IT. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about their job and has the technical expertise to succeed. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Candidate should have at least 3-5 years experience in: • Application release automation or code migrations utilizing CA Release Automation (Nolio), Hudson, or similar tools. • Scripting using Shell, Python, PowerShell RECOMMENDED SKILLS: • Experience with middleware including WebLogic and/or Apache Tomcat • Experience installing and administering applications in Unix, Linux, and Windows environments including debugging and command line • Strong experience with Java development • ITSM process experience utilizing ticketing tools like Remedy or Service-Now • General networking/internet communication protocols • MS Server Administration a plus • UNIX Administration experience a plus • Familiarity with Service-oriented Architecture (SOA); things like web services, SOAP or JSON, etc… GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot issues • Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Self-starter and works effectively with minimal direction • Creativity and thinking outside the box • Ability to work in a team atmosphere • Detail and process oriented • Excellent organizational skills • Leadership skills to drive problem resolution • Must be able to multi-task effectively MAJOR DUTIES: The ideal candidate would have Code Migration / Release Automation experience within a medium to large enterprise environment. The automation engineer will be required to design and support workflow automation scripts utilizing CA Release Automation (formerly known as Nolio). In addition, this role will collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to design and deploy best in class automation practices. This is a fast-paced team and the successful candidate must be able to act with a sense of urgency and able to adapt to changing priorities. Qualified candidates must possess a strong sense of leadership; strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, good technical abilities, and a can do attitude. EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least three years of technical experience with multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications and network protocols or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
