*Title: Data Architect* *Location: Atlanta, GA* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Job Description:* A data architect will be responsible data modeling in relational and non‐relational databases using industry best practice techniques and tools such as Embarcadero or similar data modeling tools. The data architect will be part of a production DBA team that involves performance monitoring, database structure modes, backups/recoveries, and storage management. *Responsibilities:* · Perform data modeling in relational and non‐relational databases · Translate user requirements to data model for relational and non‐relational databases · Generate DDL statements for object creation/deletion/modifications · Manage data models and metadata in complex and dynamic enterprise environments · Monitor and troubleshoot database performance in SQL Server 2008, SQL 2012 RDMS, MySQL, Postgre SQL · Backup and recovery of databases · Coordinate allocation of storage and forecast storage usage · Design database architecture · Perform database monitoring, integration, replication, notification, analysis, tuning, problem resolution, reporting and production support · Identify blocking transactions within a minute when required *Qualifications:* · Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Daily interaction with customer and multiple data center staff.
