*Position Summary *

In this position, the selected candidate will support existing product
lines, with a focus on Industrial Communications Network / Product
Architecture. This includes developing, testing and troubleshooting
firmware/software modules or subsystems in embedded and software
applications for industrial communication networks, peripheral options,
and/or industrial control applications.



The working environment includes being part of a diverse team, focused on
responding to customer needs, whether through debugging embedded/software
applications or enhancing the product through addition of new embedded
software features. Team members also participate in, or conduct technical
reviews with peers to identify problems early in the development cycle.
Individuals are also challenged to work independently to learn new
technical areas, bringing new ideas into product designs and
problem-solving methodology, and meeting personal project commitments.



*Minimum Qualifications: *

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

·         At least three years of embedded real-time firmware experience
using C/C++ and Assembly.

·         Experience in the implementation and test of Industrial Ether
Net/IP.

·         Experience with industrial motor controls and electric motors.

·         Experience in responding to customer needs as they apply to
questions/problems relating to technical product operation or customer
issue.



*Desired Qualifications: *

·         Experience with C/C++, Code Collaborator, Python, UML, Doors,
ClearCase, ClearQuest, JSON, Team City, Artifactory, Doxygen, SAP,
MatLab/SimuLink …

·         Experience with ARM, PPC, Renesas, TI processors and interfacing
with FPGAs and hardware.

·         Experience and/or Certified for Safety, TUV IEC 61508 and/or
Design for Security (DfS)

·         Experience with other communication protocols such as CIP, CIP
Motion, DF1, DeviceNet, Modbus, Profibus, BACnet

·         Comfortable with troubleshooting and performing tests with high
power equipment
